Kiyoshi Dowaki
After completing graduate studies at Waseda University, I joined the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). Subsequently, I became interested in biomass energy as a form of renewable energy, and obtained a doctoral degree in engineering at the University of Tokyo; my dissertation was titled “Life Cycle Analysis of Biomass Energy System by Gasification Process”. Thereafter, I worked as an assistant at the Department of Industrial Administration, Faculty of Science and Technology, Tokyo University of Science, and as a visiting researcher at the University of Hawaii.
