IGU 2013 - KYOTO REGIONAL CONFERENCE
Field Trips

Attention!!
To apply for the following field trips, please click "APPLY NOW" and go to the website (https://amarys-jtb.jp/IGU2013/) .

During and after the Conference, a wide selection of excursions will be offered by the Field Trips Committee. We provide four types of field excursions: 1) One-day field trips (OD), 2) Half-day field trips (HD), 3) Post-congress domestic field trips (PD), and 4) Post-congress international field trips (PI) to Korea/Taiwan/Russia. Among the Post-congress domestic field trips (PD), we have two courses (PD-6 and PD-7) to the areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake/Tsunami of March 11, 2011. The selection buttons that allow you to apply for particular field trips are at the end of this page. However, please carefully read the descriptions of the 16 plans before making your selection.

Deadline for submitting field trip applications is June 3, 2013.

On some trips, fees are set for twin room users. We strongly recommend that those who apply for a twin room organize themselves as pairs in advance. For more detailed information, including fees, contents, or cancelation policy of each trip, please contact the organizer.

Field trip participants should note some requirements. All of the participants must have personally purchased travel insurance in advance. Participants going on the post-congress international field trips must obtain their own visas in advance before the trips. Furthermore, because all of the participants in the PI trips must gather at appointed places in Korea/Taiwan/Russia, they need to make their own travel arrangements from Kyoto to the overseas meeting site. Moreover, e-mail to the organizers of each course must be written in English.

Attention!!
To apply for the other field trips planned by some IGU Commissions, please go to the website "Announcements from Commissions and Task Force."
