Laboratory profile
The main focus of research will be on biomechanics modeling of human walking. More specifically, we are investigating walking mechanism related the plantar tactile stimulus and interventions that can be used to help reduce falls and fall-related injuries, and developing new methods for pinpointed muscle force control using a power-assisting device.
