   X射线的最大优点是穿透性。因此被利用于人体的内部诊断。其原理是通过组织间的吸收差别进行造影。然而,癌同正常组织间的X射线吸收量的差别极其微小,癌组织没有大到一定程度的话,很难提高吸收衬度。因此我们在决定开发早期乳癌诊断方法时,考虑是否可以利用X射线剩余属性的衬度即折射、散射、荧光等中的某一种。这五六年的开发,利用的是折射原理 因此,如果对比可视光的话,很难确认是否发生了折射。但是通过使用硅晶体被称作2结晶平行配置的X射线光学,使其的识别变得完全可能。
   我们有接受诊察时的数张X光照片和具有更高诊断效果的CT即立体图像。由于现实医疗中CT成像的需求,我们需开发对应折射原理的CT数字计算法,用它来代替从前的吸收原理CT。并在同时挑战开发,临床中所期待的减轻受辐照量的数字计算法。
