Brief bio.
Dr. Mizoguchi obtained his Dr.Eng. degree from The University of Tokyo in 1985. From 1985 to 1994, he was with R & D Center, TOSHIBA Corp. From 1994 to 1997, he worked at RCAST, The Univ. of Tokyo. In 1996, he had a chance to stay at Prof. Roberto Cipolla's lab., Department of Engineering, Cambridege University, UK, as an academic visitor supported by Monbusho's grant. From 1997 to 2002, he was an associate professor of Department of Information and Computer Science (DICS), Faculty of Engineering, Saitama University. He moved to Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME), Faculty of Science and Technology, Tokyo University of Science (TUS) in 2002.

At DICS, Saitama Univ., he belonged to Mathematical Engineering Reseach Group with Prof. Mishima, Assoc. Prof. Shigehara, Assoc. Prof. Tanaka and Research Associate Dr. Hiraoka.

Now at Dept. of Mech. Eng., Tokyo Univ. of Sci., he is working on human-machine interaction both in real world and real time. Dr. Mizoguchi's research topics are intelligent machines and real time systems for them. He is currently interested in human-machine interaction in real world and both software and hardware for motion image porocessing. [Lab. page (in Japanse)]
