Dear Colleague,

The organizing committee would like to invite you to attend 1st Indo-Japanese International Joint Symposium on Overcoming Intractable Infectious Diseases, taking place on November 6 , 7 in Tokyo, Japan.  The purpose of this symposium is to develop the effective treatments to overcome various intractable infectious diseases, such as tuberculosis, AIDS and malaria.  There are no effective clinical treatments for these intractable infectious diseases, although still a lot of people worldwide are suffering from these diseases.  For instance, tuberculosis infects about 1/3 of the total population of the world (2 billion people) and kills nearly 2 million people every year, mainly from Asia and Africa.  It would be utmost important to discuss the strategies to overcome these diseases.
