Tokyo University of Science 21st century Center of Excellence (COE) program opened Fire Research and Test Laboratory in March 2005. Faculty of center for fire science and technology designed layout and instruments of the Fire Research and Test Laboratory. The construction started from August 2004, and completed March 2005.
Our laboratory occupies approximately 2,000 m2 (6,700 ft2) floor area and has a full-scale fire test hall, which has a full scale
fire test hall, 26 m (W) x 40 m (L) x 20 m (H), with a 10 tons crane.
